all of this app works. the only think is that it wont speak on the login page. the way to get around this, is to tap in the middle of the screen on the login page and it will open up the keyboard so that you can put in your login details. the top box is your username and underneath that is your password. then you have to tap beneath the password box and that is were you will find your login butten. now i know that sounds like a crap way of loging in but it is well worth it.

imposible to log in if you don't have sight. I really was excited to read that this was an alternative to the facebook for android app. It is web based and therefore I am having a hard time logging in, and I can't pull up any news feeds, profiles etc. I will have a sighted person assist me in logging in and resubmit this review afterward

This is a fantastic alternative to the Facebook for Android app. There are quite a few features that are included that you won't find on the Facebook for Android app. One feature that I particularly like is if you press enter on someone's news feed status, and hit menu, you are given a share option. This allows you to share that status to your own wall, as well as some other apps. It also allows you to set quiet times for facebook notifications, which I particularly like. I no longer wake up to the notification sound on my phone going off, telling me that someone wrote on my wall. One thing that I haven't managed to figure out is how to add a facebook place. Checking in is quite simple, when the place is already in the list. But, for example, I can't seem to add my home as a place, even though this feature is supposedly included in the app. When you click on an item in the news feed, there is a comment edit box if you arrow down a couple of times. There is an unlabeled button to the right of it, which posts your comment. Almost all of the buttons are labeled in this app, and the settings are accessible. From what I've noticed, the majority of the unlabeled buttons I've found actually open up the adds that come with the app. There is a paid version that is add-free, but I really don't think that it includes any more features. If you don't click any unlabeled buttons on the home screen, the ads don't get in the way. I may purchase the full version eventually, just to save the data that I'm guessing the ads probably use. Amazing app, and much better than the Facebook for Android, in my opinion.
